🎶 Oakville Teens Break Barriers with Project Apollo

Project Apollo Site
Three Oakville high school students are hitting all the right notes with Project Apollo, a new program making music more accessible for youth who can’t afford instruments or lessons.
Jessica Wang and Zheng Wu from White Oaks Secondary, along with Jaime Seoh from Iroquois Ridge, started the initiative to provide band instruments like flutes, saxophones, and clarinets, plus resources like music books and reeds. They’re also planning competitions with scholarships for standout performers.
While they haven’t started distributing instruments just yet, Project Apollo is already hosting charity concerts to raise awareness and inspire. Their next show, A Little Night Music, happens April 20 from 6–8 p.m. at 918 Bathurst Street, featuring talented youth musicians from across the GTA.
