🍹 Nestea in Canada: A Temporary Pause, Not Gone for Good

(CNW Group/Keurig Dr Pepper Canada)
Rumors have been swirling online that Nestea might be disappearing from Canada for good, sparking concern among fans of the iconic iced tea. However, Keurig Dr Pepper Canada (KDP) has set the record straight: Nestea isn’t going anywhere.
Under a new licensing agreement with Nestlé Canada, effective January 1, 2025, KDP now manages Nestea's ready-to-drink products, including cans and juice boxes. During this transition, Canadians might notice a temporary absence of Nestea on store shelves. But fans won’t have to wait long—full distribution is expected to resume by summer 2025, with KDP promising to refresh the brand while honouring its legacy.
Uncertainty remains about the formula. Coca-Cola, the former license holder, retains the original recipe and has launched a new iced tea brand, Fuze, using the same ingredients. Nestea’s updated formula under KDP has yet to be revealed, leaving fans curious about what’s next for their favourite iced tea.

🤖 Oakville Teen Develops AI App for Thoughtful Online Conversations

Savir Singh from Oakville News
Oakville’s Savir Singh, a 17-year-old student at Garth Webb Secondary School, has created an AI-powered app to help people craft thoughtful responses for emails and messages. The app, Clonio AI, launched in May 2024 and has already attracted 5,000 users.
Clonio AI stands out by tailoring responses to specific interpersonal interactions, such as reconnecting with someone or asking for a promotion. Users can upload past conversations, and the app analyzes mood, grammar, and vocabulary to suggest personalized replies. Singh’s inspiration came from a moment of stress, wondering how AI could help him respond to an email respectfully.
Originally free, Singh introduced a $2 paid version in August 2024, raising funds for further development. Planned features include Android compatibility by February 2025 and integration with social media platforms.
While optimistic about AI’s potential, Singh emphasizes its role as a supportive tool, likening it to a calculator.
