Move Now or Wait?
The Right Answer Starts With the Right Questions
If you're thinking about buying or selling — now or in the near future — the most important step isn’t rushing into the market

It’s asking the right questions first:

  • Why now? What’s motivating your move — lifestyle, investment, family, or freedom?

  • Where to? Are you clear on the community, features, and lifestyle you want next?

  • What matters most? Is it timing, price, space, ROI, or peace of mind?

  • Is your home ready to sell — or are you ready to buy? Preparation is power.

Call today for a quick, focused consult and a personalized neighbourhood report — no sales pitch, just smart information.

🚌 Oakville Transit Updates

Beginning Sunday, June 29, Oakville Transit will introduce more frequent service on routes 1, 5, 6, and 190 as part of its new Five-Year Business Plan. These changes aim to improve efficiency and convenience, setting the stage for a future Frequent Transit Network.

As a result, Route 24 will be discontinued. Riders can expect better connections along major corridors like Dundas Street and Trafalgar Road, with buses every 15 minutes on key routes.

🏋 Free Fitness Classes Next Month

Get ready to move! Fresh Air Fitness is coming to Bronte Market Square this summer, offering free outdoor fitness classes every Friday from 7 to 8 pm. Starting July 4, this six-week series features a variety of fun, beginner-friendly workouts led by Town of Oakville fitness staff.

From Zumba to Dance Fit, each week brings a new way to get active and connect with your community. No registration is needed, just show up with water and comfy clothes.

🎓 Ontario Releases New Career Tool

As many of you may know, finding a job right now is not easy. To help with that, Ontario has launched My Career Journey, a free online tool designed to support students, newcomers, or anyone thinking about a career change. The platform makes it easier to explore job options and understand what training or education is needed to get there.

The tool features interactive maps, job profiles, and a questionnaire that gives personalized recommendations based on your goals and interests. No matter where you are in your career journey, this tool can hopefully offer some guidance.

Community Spotlight

🥫 “Hunger Doesn’t Take a Break”

Hunger doesn’t take a break, and neither does the team at Kerr Street Mission. As food donations slow during the summer, the Oakville nonprofit is working hard to keep its shelves stocked for the 1,200 people it now serves weekly, nearly triple pre-pandemic numbers. Their summer food drive may have ended, but donations are welcome year-round to support local families facing rising living costs.

Despite the challenges, Kerr Street Mission is a place of connection and care. With services like grocery delivery, community meals, and youth support, it offers more than just food, it provides dignity and hope. “Our goal would be that we don’t exist,” says Tony O’Dell of KSM, but until that day comes, they’ll continue showing up for those who need them most. Donations of nonperishables can be dropped off at 485 Kerr Street. Every can, every dollar, makes a difference.
